The other day, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Miss Lily! We had a nice afternoon of pictures, playing dolls and lunch. She showed me her little mini-marine ecosystem, her A+ quiz and her kitties too! Thank you Miss Lily and her Mom, Melanie, for a wonderful session and a fun afternoon visit!
The Koehler Family are dear friends of ours and I was so happy to have the opportunity to catch this lively crew on camera! I headed over to their place right before Christmas with my studio gear in hand, ready to capture this adorable family in action. Michelle, the Mom, was so patient with me when I was first starting out a few years back, and kindly volunteered her and her two girls to be my very first test subjects in-studio. Wow, what a learning experience for me at the time! The lighting was all off, I was still learning camera settings and I really had very little space to work in here in my home. Now, I am happy to have the Koehler Family as actual clients and show them the difference after a few years of learning studio techniques! Thank you guys for your patience that first session years back and I look forward to photographing you all in the future! PS: How cute are these little sisters?!
I have had the pleasure of photographing the -K- Family on a couple of occasions, and I must admit that they remain one of the most hysterically fun families to photograph. As you may have noticed from most of my past work, I am not a huge fan of the posed,
stuffy formal portraits and I love that this family can really let loose and be their natural selves. Have a very Merry Christmas -K- Family and I look forward to photographing you again in the New Year! 🙂
This little handsome dude, Deacon, was the winner of my Cutest Kids Contest on Facebook and you can certainly see why! He was a total ham for the camera and both he and his Mom, Alicia, made for some PERFECT models! Deacon insisted that I capture some of his fun, goofy faces and I happily obliged. Congratulations DEACON and thank you both for a very fun session! 🙂
I spent a couple of hours today with this fun family! Little Lilah is just over a year old and is a total ham for the camera! She loved to play peek-a-boo and she laughed when I blew her kisses. We were even able to capture a few photos in her little Ladybug Halloween Costume! Thank you for such a fun session -M- Family!!
Eric and Jen are good friends of ours and I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this beautiful and fun family on a couple of occasions. For this session, we spent a gorgeous fall afternoon at a park outside of Washington D.C. How cute are their little boys, Alex and Ayden? Alex made sure that I caught all of his funny faces and his younger brother Ayden sure grew a lot since I last photographed him when he was only about a week old! I learned after we were done shooting, that they will be making the move down South in a couple of months. We wish you the best of luck and look forward to you coming to visit! Thank you to the -S- Family for some great memories.
A little over a year ago, I was contacted by Katie who was pregnant with her first child and wanted some maternity photos and then subsequently photos of her newborn. Isla was one of my very first little clients. Even though a year has passed, this little girl can still light up a room with her happiness. She is very special, as is her Mommy and Daddy. We had the perfect fall day in the park for some outdoor shots and then headed over to their home to capture a Cake Smash Session for Isla’s First Birthday. Isla certainly enjoyed it quite a bit! Thank you to The -D- Family for a year of firsts and I look forward to capturing more special moments for you. 🙂
